How Big Is It?

On our way home from preschool, I thought it would be fun to share some of the excitement that Daddy and I have had while planning our Disney trip.  She knows we are going, but she has no idea what she’s actually going to, so I thought I’d start by telling her how big it is.  As we passed a large bank on the side of the road I pointed to it and said “Monkey, it’s even bigger than that building!”

Her eyes got as big as saucers, and she said “WHOA!!!”

So then we started heading into our neighborhood and I said “Do you see all of those houses and that field?  It’s bigger than that!”

“Wow!”

So then I said “It’s bigger than our whole neighborhood!”

To which she responded “Wait… is it bigger than you!?”

That was the end of that discussion.

Oh Ang-That cracked me up. Their sweet understanding.

One time Ash and I were talking about the dinosaurs and he asked if I saw them when I was little. I tried explaining that they were from so long ago that even Great-Grandma and Grandpa weren’t born yet when they roamed the earth. So he got this all-knowing, all-understanding look and said, ‘Oh! Ok. That is old. I bet Aunt Sara saw them.’ My poor sister. :P
