This Just In: Boy vs. Cereal…Boy Wins!

We had Caterpillars four month doctor appt, and he did great.  He is on target for weight, height and head size.  They told us we could start to introduce cereal any time between now and six months.  Even though we waited until six months with Monkey, I thought it might be good to start him a little earlier, in hopes of filling his belly and providing a little longer sleeps. Rolling Along

We have all managed to stay healthy (knock on wood) so we have been rolling along in our groove.  We haven’t been working out as much as I would like, but we did meet with the nutritionist at Lifetime Fitness and she presented us with some options for further education.

We were actually able to attend MOPS this week, and Daddy worked from home so I got to leave Caterpillar and just hang out with Monkey.  It was so much fun.  She has gotten so funny and I love to hear the things she says when interacting with her friends.  When we were going into the church, I was carrying a lot of things and someone opened the door for me, and she said ‘That’s what I am talking about!’.  Where did she hear that!? Romp to Stomp

A group of women from my MOPS group made the trip to Frisco, CO for the annual Romp to Stomp snowshoeing event.  The event benefits the Susan G. Komen foundation, supporting research and progress towards a cure for breast cancer.

Those of you who have been with me a long time (God help you all) know that last year one of my fellow MOPS mommies was diagnosed with breast cancer.  The day I found out about it will stick with me for ever.  Since then I have made it a priority to support finding a cure whenever possible.  So, when the invites went out for this event, I made sure I arranged my schedule to include this weekend.
